    - Simms Womens Headwaters Boot

Simms has been the leader in on-stream conservation and now with CleanStream™ technology they have set the bar even higher. CleanStream™ came about with the marriage of synthetic leather uppers, Schoeller® mesh panels with NanoSphere® treatment and the Vibram® sole design to give a lightweight easy to clean, comfortable wading boot. Simms designers approach the design with a true women sized boot in WOMEN sizes 5-12 EE (note: order you normal shoe size). Functionality taken from men’s boots are: the fully gusseted neoprene tongue, the EVA wedge midsole construction and the sturdy molded toe box with molded rubber toe and heel wraps to provide abrasion resistance. Let’s not forget the improved StreamTread™ sole with Vibram® Idropgrip™ 360 rubber sole that grips like no other sole can! It took a while but now with the Women's Headwaters™ Wading Boot look out!

BEST BOOTS 3/19/2013 1:56 pm It is so nice to finally have a wading boot that fits a woman's foot the way it should. They are so light weight and comfortable both in and out of the water. I have had my boots for two years and I still love to put them on!
Best Boot! 1/12/2013 7:28 pm It is so nice to finally have a wading boot that fits a woman's foot the way it should. They are so light weight and comfortable both in and out of the water. I have had my boots for two years and I still love to put them on!
Sizing and Ankle Support 1/12/2013 7:27 pm These boots are great lightweight boots for women. They don't have strong ankle support which is a downside, but after researching for months for the right boot, I think this is a great boot. I was told to go up a size but it was big and exchanged for my normal shoe size which fits much better.
Happy Feet 1/12/2013 7:26 pm These are somewhat lighter than I'd like for a boot in which I'm doing a lot of hiking, and they don't provide much arch support for my aging feet (inserts take care of that) but they're pretty good overall. They dry fast and they're comfortable, with plenty of room in the toe for slightly oversized wader booties (ahem). I agree that adding a speed lacing hook in the ankle would be an improvement. I can cinch them down without them but it's more work. A slightly longer tongue might make it easier to tighten up the ankle without ending up with the lace under the tongue, which occasionally happens. I think these boots are fine and certainly are a good value, although I'm looking forward to Simms bringing out a sturdier boot for women.
AAAA+++ 1/12/2013 7:22 pm I want to commend Simms on this women's wading boot! I have over 320 hours wading the Rio Grande River in Southern Colorado in these boots over the past 2 summer seasons. They show very little wear! Fit true to size from the start with room for a good sock or rock guard socks which I utilize. The soles grab and hold the rocks like none other I have ever had. Great Job Simms !
A++ 1/12/2013 7:21 pm Awesome boots! I agree, thank you Simms for coming out with some women's wading boots! They are a great fit! Have had mine for almost two years now. Lots of wear and no tear! I think you should come out with other designs & colors too!
