COLDWEATHER PANTS RULE!!

st review cons... "not enough room to pull pants over boots". Who puts their boots on first then their pants? Really!?, not enough room to put your wading boots through the legs as you pull them up? These pants are awesome with an adjustable cuff. Nice fit and perfect length. Very warm and comfortable. Own more than one pair. If you are a serious fly fisherman you need these pants when the water temps are low. Nice pants to wear after a day on the water. perfect for the lodge.

I used these pants everyday while fishing for steelhead on the Salmon River, NY. The weather was a bit nasty (wet & cold) the first three days. I can tell you that these pants not only kept me warm and dry but they are as comfortable as my favorite sweat pants. I like the cargo pocket on the left side. The exterior does a nice job of repelling water and cuts the wind. Inside the pants have a ribbed fleece lining which kept me warm while wading in 40 degree water in my breathable Simms waders which I also would not hesitate to recommend. I have a 36" waist and found the XL to large in the waist, but, the length of the legs are dead on. Also, Simms provided velcro on the cuff to cinch up the pant leg so the pants don't ride up when putting your waders (great idea Simms). These pants are very durable and will last many years with proper care. My 3 fishing buddies who were with me last week wore sweats and dungarees under their waders, but, are buying these pants before their next trip for steelhead. OH yeah, I'm getting another pair too. Thanks Simms for another excellent, quality product!

These are the pants! They are warm, comfortable and true to size in the waist. The legs seem a little short but they will be perfect for wearing under waders. I think that I'll even order another pair to wear around in the other color. Great job Simms.
